What is the natural upgrade path?
Most clients begin with the Backtesting Simulator ($250/3mo) to validate their strategy with zero infrastructure commitment. From there, the GUI Managed Algo ($2,100/mo) is the fastest path to live CME trading – 1 dedicated core, fully managed, GUI access only. As trading volume and team size grow, Colocated Professional ($3,200/mo) provides 3 cores and direct SSH access for multi-strategy operations. The DMA Software Suite ($3,200/mo) is for firms that already operate their own colocation hardware and only need the certified software stack.
What does the Backtesting Simulator include?
The $250 / 3-month license gives full access to PCAP and DataBento DBN replay plus the CME-compatible trading simulator. It supports all CME order types – FAK, Iceberg, Limit, Market, Stop, Stop-Limit – with fill logic that mirrors live Globex behavior. Uses the exact same C++ API as production, so upgrading to a live plan requires zero code changes. No exchange account or FCM required.
What is the difference between GUI Managed and Colocated Professional?
GUI Managed ($2,100/mo) provides 1 dedicated core with GUI-only access – you monitor and control your strategy through the GUI but have no shell access to the server. Colocated Professional ($3,200/mo) provides 3 dedicated cores and full SSH access, enabling your team to directly manage the private server environment and install your own applications.
Are there routing or volume-based fees on any plan?
No – on any plan. Every product is flat-rate only. No per-trade fees, no revenue share, no volume tiers, no exchange pass-throughs.
Can I upgrade from one managed tier to another?
Yes, and it's seamless. Your algo code, configuration, and strategy carry over unchanged – you gain additional cores and SSH access without any migration overhead.
What FCMs do you support?
Any US-registered FCM offering CME-sponsored access. We handle the technical FCM integration during onboarding at no additional charge.
Is support included?
Technical onboarding and email support are included in all DMA plans. The Simulator includes documentation-level support.
