Nanoconda Now Integrates with Sierra Chart FROMGHOSTBLOG

Nanoconda now supports direct integration with Sierra Chart.

Traders can use Sierra Chart as their trading front end while connecting directly to Nanoconda for CME market data and order execution.

The integration uses Sierra Chart's DTC protocol and is available with Sierra Integrated Packages.

Sierra Chart, Directly Connected to Nanoconda

Nanoconda implements DTC as a native client interface alongside our Real-Time GUI, Remote Client API, and FIX interface.

Through Sierra Chart, you can:

  • Receive real-time CME market data and full market depth
  • Load historical tick data
  • Submit, cancel, and modify orders
  • Trade Market, Limit, Stop, and Stop-Limit orders
  • View open orders and current positions
  • View account balances and historical fills
  • Flatten positions directly from Sierra Chart

Everything is backed by the same Nanoconda account and the same low-latency CME infrastructure.

Hosted Sierra Chart with ~10 Microsecond Connectivity

For traders looking for the lowest possible latency, Nanoconda can also host your Sierra Chart instance directly on the same physical server as your Nanoconda gateway.

Communication between Sierra Chart and the gateway stays entirely within the machine, eliminating the external network hop between your trading platform and Nanoconda.

This brings connectivity between Sierra Chart and the Nanoconda gateway to approximately 10 microseconds.

Your Sierra Chart instance remains close to the CME while you access it remotely from your own computer.

This gives you the Sierra Chart environment you already know, including charts, Trade DOM, studies, and ACSIL strategies, running directly alongside Nanoconda's CME connectivity.

Two Ways to Run

Run Sierra Chart yourself

Run Sierra Chart on your own Windows machine or server and connect remotely to your Nanoconda deployment.

Run Sierra Chart with Nanoconda

Nanoconda hosts your Sierra Chart instance directly alongside your gateway for approximately 10 microsecond local connectivity.

Both configurations use the same DTC integration and provide access to Nanoconda market data and order execution.

Getting Started

The integration requires Sierra Chart Service Package 10 or Service Package 11.

Connecting an existing Sierra Chart installation is straightforward. Select DTC Service under Data/Trade Service Settings, enter your Nanoconda server address and account credentials, and connect.

Sierra Chart support is available for both self-hosted and fully managed Nanoconda deployments.
